Piaggio Porter Rear Leaf Spring disassembly
1 - Raise the vehicle using the lift.
2 - Unscrew the fixing nuts of the "U" screw.
3 - Remove the "U" screw and the pad from below.
4 - Undo the fixing screw of the parking brake cable retaining bracket.
5 - Unscrew the front fastening bolt of the leaf spring to the frame
6 - Unscrew the lower fastening nut of the leaf spring joint support to the frame.
7 - Unscrew the upper fixing nut of the leaf spring joint support to the frame.
8 - Remove the rear suspension joint support
9 - Visually check the rubber bushes and the pad. Replace if they are cracked, broken or deteriorated. Check that the leaf springs and joint supports do not show any damage, cracks or flattening.
